В Копенгагене множество достопримечательностей - дворцов, церквей, музеев, памятников, но самыми известными считаются замок Эльсинор недалеко от города и, конечно, статуя русалочки из сказки Андерсена, которая то появляется, то исчезает с набережной. Центром Копенгагена считается площадь перед ратушей, от которой отходят узкие улочки со средневековыми зданиями.
