The Sandyport Beaches Resort is a relatively small resort with just 72 units. Known for its tranquility, where rest and relaxation amid the tropical landscape takes you into island time. A quiet retreat ideally located only a short distance from the casino and nightlife of the Cable Beach Strip. The resort is within the Sandyport Marina Village on the Grand canal. All one bedroom deluxe suites have a view of the canal. Some are located on the Lagoon Beach. The resort complex includes an ocean beach, which is reached by a pedestrian walkway under the road. There are three swimming pools including one large pool with a gentle sand edge. There is a small kids pool with 2 water slides. There is a tennis court and half basketball court also on-site. Guests can use a computer in the lobby with complimentary high-speed Internet access during office hours. Wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge. Guests also have discounted use of a nearby fitness center. The resort is currently undergoing renovations to the rooms and property. These renovations should not negatively effect your stay. In fact the quality of the resort experience should continue to improve throughout this year. The resort has a limited number of rooms that are handicapped accessible. A credit card imprint will be taken at check-in for all your incidental charges. Minimum age required at check-in is 21. Please note the following fees- there is a 10 percent government tax, 6 percent promotional levy, USD 8.00 per person/per night energy surcharge and USD 4.00 per person/per night maid gratuity charge payable at the resort if not paid in advance. Room rates are quoted on a double occupancy basis and each additional guest will be charged at USD 40.00 per person/per night. Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 11am.
