Located on the Kent coast, Folkestone successfully blends its role as a port and popular seaside resort. You can take a day trip to France by Seacat or ferry from Dover, or on the Channel Tunnel with your car. There is plenty to see in this historic area, including the cities of Canterbury and Rochester, and the famous Dover Castle. Folkestone offers golf, horse racing and a wide range of sporting activities at the Folkestone Sports Centre as well as the new coastal park area and spectacular views of the Channel and Romney Marsh from the North Downs Way and Saxon Shore Way coastal paths. While there is ample free parking outside the hotel we are not able to reserve or guarentee spaces to any particular guest. However, just a little patience in this matter usually means success or a member of the family being able to assist. Guests should note that whilst the hotel does have a lift there are eight steps to the entrance of the building. Whilst we have made every endevour to make the property accessable to all it is impossible to add a ramp within the health and safety regulations, sorry for any dissapointment this may cause. A credit card is required as a guarantee. If the booking is not cancelled outside of the cancellation notice period, your credit card will be charged with the full amount of the booking. Please note that as we are only a small family hotel we are not able to accept check by guests after 10pm.
