The Kunza Hotel & Spa, in San Pedro de Atacama, has changed our perception of the desert. This oasis, located in the Ayllu de Yaye, almost 2 km south of the emblematic town of San Pedro de Atacama, is the culmination of a an ambitious project led by outstanding professionals. There are 5,600 m2 of built areas in a unique landscape of vast plains with a predominant view of the Licancabur Volcano and the Salt mountain range in harmony with the geography of the area, incorporating natural elements typical of the zone. A huge wooden door jealously guards a saintly precinct. Mystical and magical, Kunza is the culmination of a unique experience, perfectly blending luxury with the rusticity of the zone. Its 60 suites are distributed in three sections, consisting of 20 modules of three suites each. There are 6 deluxe and 54 regular suites, all 52 m2, independently air conditioned and heated, with a private terrace, a small bar, flat screen TV, internet connection, digital safe, mini refrigerator stocked with drinks, a laundry service, a camera surveillance system and national and international telephone services. The Spa area has three heated pools and with two outdoor Jacuzzis. The complex has two steam saunas and two dry saunas, massage services, a gym with exercise machines and even a beauty parlor. An hour of reflexology or Reiki massages is well worth it. Oils with local essences are currently being developed to take full advantage of the resources and medicinal plants of the area.
