It is a small but charming hotel, located right where the historical Cusco Centre ends and the new part begins; such location permits a direct contact with the present and the past, the old section and the new, the same with its inhabitants.As its quechua name notes, it is a "pretty house", beautifully decorated in a peculiar Cusquenian style. Also located in the Historical Cusco Centre; it is in the area where the religious and archaeological tourist circuits pass. The Munay Wasi Inn is surrounded by very many tourist attractions. At the same time it has some kind of direct contact with the popular neighborhood and the social and cultural Cusco dynamic. The airport is 10 minutes away. Our hotel has some bits of early Inca architecture, as can be seen on the outside facade, but as most of Cusco historical centre, it also has other architectural elements from different epochs, going though colonial, republican and modern. having in its structures arcades, fountains, patios, court yards and gardens, some 19th century style. One other sample would be its wooden carved balconies on cedar plus the ornamental lamp posts .One important item to highlight about this hotel, that has a lot to do with sustainable tourism, is the energy saving project, that actually is being carried away, by using saved caloric energy. Andean shapes and touches have been used to decorate it, just take a look to its planters or plant holders.
