We look forward to introducing you to our friendly family run guest house, and all that the wonderful city of York has to offer. Located only minutes walk from the historic bar walls and York Minster, restaurants, bars and shopping, we are in an ideal location for exploring York. All rooms are en-suite; we have a car park; a range of drinks and great value snacks are available in our lounge bar. For those that have work to do, telephone/modem sockets are in all rooms, (with reasonable rates); copying and faxing are available. Free wireless internet. We pride ourselves on offering a good service combined with value-for-money prices. Note: prices are generally (but not always!) cheaper from Sunday night to Thursday night. In addition, York's city centre and tourist attractions are less busy midweek. If your plans are flexible, why not come midweek, when you can stay a day longer and enjoy more of what our great city has to offer! Latest check-in time is 10pm, without prior arrangement with the hotel. In case of cancellation within 14 days of arrival, or no-show, the full cost of the booking will be charged by the hotel to the credit / debit card used to secure the booking. If you find you will arrive before or after the expected arrival time, as per your booking, it is important to call the hotel in order to ensure the reception is open for check-in at your new arrival time. Rooms not checked-in by their arrival time, as given on the booking, may be released for resale to others unless arrangements have been made with the hotel. SO, if you are going to arrive early or later than expected, PLEASE CALL US; if you need to cancel or ammend your booking PLEASE CALL US to minimise any cancellation / no show charges. We are child-friendly, but please contact us regarding any special requirments, (e.g. to reserve cots.) In the case of group bookings, we require one person to be personally responsible for the behaviour of their guests, and any damage caused. We may require a 'good behaviour' bond from groups.
