Hotel Le Guilleret is sure to please those who are weary of large, faceless chain hotels. This house has so much to offer, with its six fireplaces, thick stone walls, exposed timbers and wood flooring. All rooms are non-smoking and without televisions, but have private baths. The hotel also offers three spacious suites, including one with a private balcony. Breakfast, included in your room rate, is served at a large table in the kitchen, in a friendly, family atmosphere. The building, a listed historical monument, is the only surviving example in Old Montreal of a typical commercial property of the 18th century that did double duty as a home and a place of work. That's surely one reason so many visitors stop to take photos of it. Best of all, though, we're located in the heart of the historical borough, so you'll truly feel you're getting away from it all.

How to get:
The property is between Notre-Dame and St-Paul Street. Old Montreal is near the water, south of the skyscrapers area. By car, from west follow the brown signs that drives you to the Old City-Vieux-Montreal. -From Aut. Bonaventure /10/, take the exit Vieux-Port, drive underneath the highway. On Mills st. turn right, cross the bridge, take De La Commune st. until St-Laurent. Turn left. On Notre-Dame, turn right and on St-Vincent, turn right. -From the west on 720, take exit number 6. From other streets, just follow the signs for Vieux-Port, Vieux-Montreal or something. De La Commune street follows the seaway, we are near that. You have to go on Notre-Dame, wich is parallel and take St-Vincent down. It is near the town hall and the Pallais de Justice. By walk - From Berri-Uqam station, you walk south until Notre-Dame and West until St-Vincent. - From the train station, walk East until St-Laurent and South until Notre-Dame and then East again until St-Vincent. From airport - From the airport, a taxi is a flat rate. You can also take the aerobus.
