A courtesy bus operates regularly to Funchal. The gourmet restaurant "Bacchus" is housed in the original house, built in 1914. It has a very local decor to compliment excellent Madeirian and gourmet cuisine. As an alternative the Adega restaurant in the grounds served an excellent selection of local Madeirian specialities in a most enjoyable rustic atmosphere. Heated swimming pool with removable enclosure is surrounded by ample sun terraces where sun beds, umbrellas with free towels. Two free saunas are also on hand for guests to enjoy. The views over the hotel's gardens are really special!!
