The Hermitage Hotel is located on the outskirts of Lucerne on the shores of Lake Lucerne with views of the beautiful city of Lucerne. On entering the hotels open plan lobby you are welcomed with spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains. All the bedrooms are south-facing onto the lake side. Decorated in a refreshing and clean ambiance. This well known hotel offers four star amenities and facilities through-out including Wi-Fi facilities throughout the hotel. Two restaurants including the well known Baccara Restaurant, function rooms for banquets, seminars and meetings, tennis courts, beach and boat landing stages and the bathing house. The 20 junior suites all have balconies and the two restaurants feature lake terraces with a separate playground for children. The wellness and fitness center offer a Finnish sauna, sanarium, steam-bath and fitness room. The hotel owns its own bathing area with a private beach on Lake Lucerne. The hotel offers a variety of outdoor activities, walking, jogging, swimming and other water sports, cycling, tennis, golf on the near-by golf course. The lake ferry stops at the hotels private landing stage. There is a bus stop at the hotel which has a regular bus service into the main train station at Lucerne, there is limited free car parking facilities, and the hotel does offer a shuttle service on request and at a charge. Children over age 2 will pay the Extra Adult Charge of CHF 60.00 for an extra bed in the room.
