The Arden Park is a character Victorian town house that was built in the 1860's. Whilst it still retains the architectural features of days gone by, the property boasts deluxe ensuite facilities in all its rooms. Guests can be sure of a warm, friendly atmosphere in this comfortable guest house just 2 minutes' walk from the town centre. There is a also a guest lounge and a patio garden. Our breakfast offering is an 'all you can eat' continental-style buffet of: ham, boiled eggs, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, toast, croissants, juice and freshly-brewed coffee or tea - so just dig in! CHECK-IN TIMES Your room will be ready by 14:00. If you are arriving before 14:00 and want to drop off your bags or you are arriving after 20:00, you MUST let us know in advance so that we can ensure that someone is here to greet you. Please note that we do not accept check-ins after 22:30. SMOKING POLICY For the comfort of all our guests smoking is not permitted on the premises. Guests choosing to smoke must leave immediately and are charged for one extra night. BREAKFAST Breakfast is served in the dining room between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. PAYMENT POLICY A credit or debit card is required as a guarantee. Bookings can be cancelled without detriment outside the notice period. Cancellations and no-shows will be charged to the credit card at the full amount of the booking. Please consider buying cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen events. When you pay your actual bill you may choose to pay by cash, guaranteed cheque or card. Cards attract a 2% surcharge whereas cash and cheque, do not. Payment is normally required at check-out. However, where check-out is likely to occur during breakfast time, payment may be requested the day before. SINGLE OCCUPANCY POLICY Where a guest has reserved a double-bedded room for single occupancy at a reduced rate we will endeavour to fulfill their request. However, at busy times, we reserve the right to accommodate the guest in a room with single beds or in a small double room. Double beds will only be guaranteed to single guests booking as '2 adults'.
