For divers, Casa Caribena offers dive boat pickup right at the Hotel Fontan which is adjacent to the villa at no extra charge! On the main floor is the kitchen, living room, dining room, and 2 of the 3 bedrooms. In the living room/dining room, a wall of solid glass sliding doors affords you a panoramic view of the beach and sea. In the living room you will find a double-sized sofa bed. There is a full bathroom that serves the dining room so should anyone in your group be using the sofa bed, they will have their own bathroom.You also have the option of a food service plan. Our cook consistently gets rave reviews from our guests.Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own bathroom and provides you with superb views of the water. Through their large picture windows you will enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. Access to the 2 upstairs bedrooms is via a tiled deck. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are tiled in beautiful, rare rose marble. One has a king-sized bed and the other has 2 double beds. The downstairs bedroom opens directly onto the beach. It has a king-sized bed. All have private baths. Outside you can lounge in the shade of a palapa or cool off in the comfy 20 foot long by 13 foot wide fresh water pool.The snorkeling here is wonderful. You can enter the water either via a short ladder or use the sandy cove next door (it's about 100 feet away) that slopes into the sea. (Children love to play in this cove. It's full of tiny fish and the occasional flounder!) Either way, you'll see the kind of sea life that is usually available only to divers. It is especially unusual because of the underground fresh water springs that emerge into the sea.
