The hotel Antigua Posada Barrio Latino is located in Playa del Carmen, the Heart of the Mayan Riviera, in calle 4 between Av. 10 an 15.
The colorful neighbourhood is very well known worldwide, loved by international tourists who mix with locals, being very safe all day and all night long, clean and at a minimum walking distance from the beach and transportation terminals to Cozumel by boat, Chichen Itza, Tulum, Belize, Cancun downtown and airport, Xcaret.
You can even use collective buses -two blocks- to get to the caves, lagoons and beaches between Playa del Carmen and Tulum.
This small charming hotel was built in 1997 and is managed by an Italian - Mexican couple who love to offer the best value in town to travelers looking for clean rooms, relaxing and absolutely noiseless ambience, safe in a place at a very reasonable price.
Entering the hotel, you will park your vehicle for free in the off street parking. A smiling receptionist will invite you to know the hotel - no matter what time you arrive, there will always be someone waiting for you at the front desk, keeping a quiet and safe ambience.
You will have one of the 16 rooms of two levels, all with a cozy and absolutely clean private bathroom built in blue mosaics, ceiling fan and safety box for your peaceful stay - most of the rooms offer air conditioning as an extra option. All rooms face the wide garden and a magic breeze that enters through the windows, if you allow it to.
Each window has a welcomed mosquito net, even in this stay you will not have to be afraid of undesired bites.
Choose the colour you prefer when arriving if rooms are still available - blue like the sky or yellow like the sun, each one with a unique detail painted by a national artist, a piece of art to let you feel like home, better than home when possible.
