The Wescoe is situated just off the Promenade and is within easy reach of the South Pier, the Sandcastle indoor water park and the world famous Pleasure Beach funfair. Shops, social clubs ,international shows, cafes & restaurants are an easy stroll away. The accommodation is reputed for excellent standards of food and service winning the finals of the Hotel of the Year awards at the end of 2003 & 'Highly Commended' in 2004. Our Tourism Council rating is Three Diamonds & we also hold a gold HOAST award. We cater for both vegetarian and diabetic requirements: if you have any special dietary needs, please advise on booking, in order that your requirements may be met. The accommodation is open all year and caters for couples, singles and families. Our smoking policy is 'smoking throughout' with the exception of the dining room. BOOKINGS FROM ALL-MALE OR ALL-FEMALE GROUPS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Guests have their own keys with access 24 hours a day. At busy periods our minimum stay requirement is two nights but Saturday only stays may be available at short notice. Additional facilities include hairdriers, ironing facilities, licensed bar, discounted tickets for local attractions and limited/restricted parking. As cars need to be parked nose to tail, keys will need to be handed in, to allow everyone access. Tea and coffee making, soap, towels & shampoo are provided in all rooms and are replenished daily. Please note that there are 3 steps at the front of the hotel (no ramp access) but that the bar/lounge & dining room are all located on the ground floor. There is no lift/elevator. A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF 40 PER ROOM IS REQUIRED TO SECURE BOOKINGS. Payment of balance is due on arrival & a charge of 2% is levied for payment by credit card (no charge for debit cards, cash or cheque with bank card). DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION POLICY A credit/debit card is required on booking so that a deposit of 40 per room may be made to the hotel. The hotel will ring for the last 3 digits from the back of the card as this is a security measure. THIS DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. Should you need to cancel your booking if you do so at least 48 hours before your due date of arrival then there will be no further charges other than the lost deposit. where 48 hours notice of cancellation is not given, your credit card will be charged with the full amount of the booking. PAYMENT OF BALANCE there is a 2% administration charge for payment of balance by credit card. There is no charge for payment by debit card or cash. MINIMUM STAY at busy periods is 2 nights. Saturday only bookings are subject to availability. SMOKING is allowed throughout the hotel except for the dining room PETS are not accepted (please be aware that the hotel owners have a dog but he really is very friendly!) ALL-MALE OR ALL-FEMALE GROUPS not accepted DAMAGE TO ROOMS a charge for lost keys or damage to rooms may be levied PARKING is 'nose to tail' & car keys will need to be left with the proprietors.
