This free-standing house, a restored annex building on the site of a 17th century mill, is beautifully situated in the quiet countryside of Marememma. Its charms include a stream that runs near the mill and the rich, lush vegetation that characterizes the area. Horseback riding excursions can be arranged at a neighboring property. Guests will also enjoy lovely views of the countryside and the well-tended exclusive garden, which features a pergola furnished for outdoor dining. There is a swimming pool, open from 10 am until 7 pm, with a furnished patio area, shared with two other apartments and the owner. There is also on-site parking. A cleaning fee of euro 16 and a deposit of euro 150 are required at check-in, to be paid in cash only. Hot water, heating and electricity charges are based upon usage and paid at the time of check-out. No after hours check-in is available. Castiglione della Pescaia, a fishing hamlet along the Maremma coast, has become a popular, quaint coastal resort. Its narrow alleyways climb up the hillside, which bursts with fragrant strawberry patches and pine trees. A medieval castle and Romanesque church greet visitors at the top of the hill.
