Borgo Basso

This lovingly-restored farmhouse has been divided into three apartments, each enjoying a quiet, peaceful setting in the low, rolling hills of Chianti. Each apartment has its own private, furnished outdoor area, access to a shared swimming pool, open from mid-May through the end of September, and table tennis. Each apartment is tastefully furnished, with some antique touches. There is parking available on the property. A cleaning fee of euro 15 and deposit of euro 300 is required at check-in, to be paid in cash only. Hot water, heating and electricity charges are based upon usage and paid at the time of check-out. No after hours check-in is available. Chianti is world-famous not only for its scenery but also for the namesake grapes that thrive there. The hills are absolutely enchanting, covered in vineyards and oak, chestnut and holm-oak tree groves. The countryside, dotted with farmhouses, is an exclusive tourist destination with vivid appeal.
