Hotel All Angelo was erected in the seventeenth century and was unveiled 1924. The facade overlooks the brook that leads to the Doges Palace- located in the heart of the city near the best shops- museums- and full of charm right behind St Marks square. Right from the start the hotel and its restaurants have played a leading role in the life of numerous Italian and foreign artists- who used it as their meeting place to discuss art and literature. Even today there is a taste of art in the hallway and in the restaurant where there are original paintings by Matisse- Miro- Guttuso- Braque- Santomaso- Vedova and many other artists from the 900s- who right from here gave life to the new art front. After you have crossed the PONTE DELLA LIBERTA that connects the mainland to Venice- you arrive in Piazzale Roma where you have to park your car either at the Garage Comunale- daily price 19.00EUR- or at the Garage San Marco- daily rate 26.00EUR- possibility to get a 10pct reduction in high season and 20pct reduction in low season requiring the coupon at the reception-. Then- from Piazzale Roma it is possible to take the public boat VAPORETTO or the private watertaxi.
