This welcoming 17th century Umbrian farmhouse rests on hill near the medieval village of Torgiano. Here, guests can relax and enjoy beautiful, panoramic views of the charming town below, the nearby vineyards and, in the distance, Perugia. In addition to the peace and quiet of the private outdoor space that complements each apartment, there is also a large, shared lawn with a working, antique wood burning-oven at your disposal. Off to one side, a play area with a swing, a slide and a sandbox is an ideal spot for children to play and enjoy the fresh air. Tucked among the vineyards, visitors can cool off in the swimming pool, open seasonally from June through September, or simply unwind in the deck-chairs and sun-beds provided. More than a charming vacation getaway, the property is also a working farm, and visitors can purchase delicious Italian olive oil, wine, vinsanto, vinegar and other delights produced on-site. Cleared paths wind through the vineyards and wooded area, offering a perfect setting for a taking a stroll and soaking up the natural beauty of the area. Inside, each apartment is tastefully furnished, providing the perfect holiday retreat. A telephone is available on-site in the main building. There are additional beds available, and each apartment has central heating and its own convenient covered parking place. A deposit of euro 200 required at check-in to be paid in cash only. Hot water, heating and electricity charges are based upon usage and paid at the time of check-out. No after hours check-in is available. Umbria is truly the green heart of Italy.
