This delightful, charmingly rustic farmhouse rests on a sloping hillside, providing magnificent views of the valley below. The property is on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, both of which are well-known for their picturesque countryside. The house is surrounded by furnished outdoor areas, and there is an antique wood-burning oven. The bucolic grounds are ideal for leisurely walks. Upon request, a cook is available for lunches and dinners, offering traditional cuisine at prices to be determined by mutual agreement between the guests and the cook. There is parking available just outside the property gate. A cleaning fee of euro 15 and a deposit of euro 300 are required at check-in, to be paid in cash only. Hot water, heating and electricity charges are based upon usage and paid at the time of check-out. No after hours check-in is available. Lake Trasimeno is vast and stunning. The history of the area and its current role as an agricultural mainstay are on vivid display, with ghostly castle ruins standing as a nod to the past, while rich olive groves cover the hills and crops burst from thriving, modern vineyards and farms.
