i??From: Las Vegas. Travel Interstate 15 north. Exit north of St. George, at Exit 16. Take U-9 to the only stop light in LaVerkin. Turn right and continue on U-9 through the south entrance of the park, to the east entrance. Continue 12 miles east on U-9 to Mount Carmel Junction. U-9 through the park is always open to the BEST WESTERN East Zion Thunderbird Lodge.
