A converted stable, our RAC award winning restaurant offers a wide selection of delicious dishes both lunch time and evenings. Only the finest cuts of Welsh lamb, beef and game and local fish as in season are used. A wide selection of vegetarian dishes are also available. These meals are complemented by an extensive choice of wines supplied by Tanners of Shrewsbury. The dining room is in the original stable, and features the slate troughs or mangers from which the horses ate; also many original horse brasses, harnesses and agricultural tools decorate this room.

There are a number of mountain walks just on the doorstep. Pony trekking can be arranged and free fishing is available for hotel guests. The hotel also has a bike lock up so guests can bring their cycles.
