Riverfront Chalets

Our fully serviced Canada Select rated 4.5 star chalets offer our guests a little piece of paradise amidst the birch and aspen trees on the banks of the Exploits River. Each chalet includes an oversized bathroom with Jacuzzi and corner shower; a private bedroom on the main level with a comfortable double bed; an upper loft with a luxurious queen sized bed featuring an incredible view of the river; a sitting area with all leather furniture including a queen-sized sofabed; and a fully serviced kitchen complete with appliances/bakeware/dishes and cutlery. The sitting room features a wall-mounted LCD television with satellite service and a DVD player for relaxing during poor weather days. Each chalet has wireless internet available throughout. Outside you will find your own private deck and BBQ as well as access to our outdoor six person saltwater self cleaning hot-tub situated on the banks of the Exploits River. Kick back in the evening by the riverside campfire and gaze at the moon and stars. There is also a playground and trampoline onsite to help entertain our younger guests through the summer months. From Late-May to October we run daily whitewater rafting tours on the mighty Exploits River. Our tours are suitable for ages 5 and up and are designed with the perfect balance for first-timers and experienced rafters providing a great way to enjoy the thrill of whitewater without being an expert paddler. We also offer canoe and kayak rentals/guided tours and instructional courses. Central Newfoundland is truly a winter wonderland and we are fortunate to have some of the provinces best snowmobiling right in our backyard. Through the winter we offer full day guided snowmobile tours that take riders up the summit of Hodges Hill or through the famous Gaff Topsails. Our tours are suitable for all skill levels and we provide snowmobile rentals. If you prefer to enjoy the beauty of winter at a more subdued pace we also offer snowshoe rentals and tours.
