Start out by going toward the Airport Exit on the Van Wyck Expressway. Take the left ramp onto the Van Wyck/I-678N towards Terminal 89/Airport Exit/Van Wyck Expressway. Take the left ramp onto Grand Central Parkway West toward LaGuardia Airport/Triborough Bridge/Grand Central Parkway. Take Grand Central Parkway West/-278 and exit onto the Triborough Bridge - pay toll. Take the left ramp to Manhattan/FDR Drive South and continue on the FDR Drive to Exit 14/East 96th Street. Go North on the New Jersey Turnpike/I-95. Follow the signs to the Lincoln Tunnel - pay toll. Upon exiting the tunnel - stay/bear left. This is Dyer Avenue. Turn right onto 42nd Street. Go to Third Avenue and make a left. Take Third Avenue uptown to East 87th Street and make a left. The Franklin is on the south side of East 87th Street between Third and Lexington Avenues.
