The University Lodge is approximately 8 miles from the major thoroughfare I-91, and is walking distance to the center of Amherst, Amherst College and the University of Massachusetts. Mt. Holyoke and Smith Colleges are both just a short drive away.
The hotel is 100% nonsmoking and offers wake-up service, faxes, free morning coffee in the main office, free wifi and free parking. A computer with internet access and printer are available for complimentary guest use in the main office.
PLEASE NOTE: The office is open from 8am to 9pm daily with a 24 hour answering service. Those arriving after 9:00pm should check in at Howard Johnson, 401 Russell Street, Route 9, in Hadley, MA. Howard Johnson does not provide shuttle service to the Lodge. The Lodge rate will be honored, based upon availability, at Howard Johnson for those arriving after 9:00pm.
