Как доехать: Abids or Abid Shop is a major commercial center in Hyderabad, India. Abids is well known as the oldest and famous business area of Hyderabad. The state government building APSFC, and the President plaza are located here. A wide variety of businesses are located here. This area importance has increased because of its close proximity to Nampally Railway Station. Today the whole area is one of the main shopping area and is known as Abid Road. The General Post Office or GPO headquarters is located in this area. Major businesses are textiles/clothing malls such as the Brand Factory, hotels, jewellery, and footwear stores such as the Hollywood etc. BSNL, the largest telecom provider in the city has its headquarters located here. The famous Jagdish market known for mobiles and imported electronics is located here. The GHMC office is also located here adjacent to the GPO.
The area is a major business hub and has lots of hotels for travelers interested in the businesses that serve Hyderabad and several government departments.
