Horizon South, a large resort located across the street from the beach, is centrally located in the heart of Panama City Beach less than a mile from Pier Park and Frank Brown Park Sports Complex. The resort features plenty of family activities on site with four pools, hot tub, kiddie pool, 18-hole mini golf, playground, tennis courts and shuffleboard. Guests also receive a free amenities package on all paid nights. Minimum age required at check-in is 25. Our beaches have NOT been impacted by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and our beaches are as beautiful as ever. Do not change your vacation plans when you are fully protected. Counts Oakes Resort Properties is pleased to offer a -Clean Beach Guarantee Program.- No Cancellation Fee- If our beaches are impacted in any way due to the oil spill you can cancel your reservation without any penalty or cancellation fee. Full Refund- If during your stay our area is impacted in any way by the oil spill in the Gulf we will issue you a full refund for the remaining balance of your stay. USD 200 Credit for a Future Stay- In addition to offering a full refund for the remaining balance of your stay we will issue you a USD 200 credit that can be applied towards a future stay. Please note that a USD 70.00- USD 110.00 housekeeping fee will be collected at check-in. Reservation fee- USD 50.00 Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is 10am.
