A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort - which means on the water - is a 36 hole golf facility overlooking beautiful Torch Lake. We offer two distinct golf courses, the original course now called The Torch and our new award winning design named Sundance. The Torch is rated 4 stars by Golf Digest and is a great layout as it winds through the woods and streams with spectacular views and nice elevation changes throughout. Sundance was rated the 3rd best new golf course in the country when it debuted in 2006 and is nominated for top 100 courses you can play for 2009 season. This jaw dropping design is a perfect blend of Northern Michigan topography with an open links style designed to provide one the most enjoyable rounds of golf played anywhere in the country. Along with great golf, the resort offers 1st class lodging options from a 1 bedroom Jacuzzi suite overlooking Torch Lake and the golf course to a 4 bedroom/4bath condo overlooking Torch Lake and the new Sundance course. The resort can accommodate up to 175 guests at any time, the special events facility can accommodate up to 300 guests, and the clubhouse can entertain groups of up to 100, making this resort a perfect spot for any outing, reception, ceremony, wedding or family get together. Both of these facilities have breathtaking views of Torch Lake and the clubhouse offers breakfast, a lunch bar and grill and is the perfect spot to unwind with a beverage of your choice after a nice relaxing day enjoying all that Northern Michigan has to offer.
