Buccleuch Arms Hotel is a charming privately owned 3 Star country hotel in the village of St Boswells near Melrose. The Hotel has been through extensive refurbishment over recent years and in the winter and spring of 2006/2007 all guest bedrooms have been completely refursbished and upgraded. Our guest bedrooms are all located on the first floor. All bedrooms are ensuite with baths as well as showers. They are fully equipped including tea/coffee facilities and toiletries. We welcome families however, we do have limited accommodation by way of family rooms. Food plays a very important part of our business at the Buccleuch, whether its breakfast, morning coffee with home made scones, a relaxing bar meal in the Huntsmans lounge, or a more formal restaurant meal in the Blue Room.

Food plays a very important part of our business at the Buccleuch, whether its our fabulous breakfasts, morning coffee with home made scones or award winning bar meals. Whilst our menus change with the seasons we make great use of our specials board which often change twice daily Our kitchen uses as many local ingredients as possible in our effort to support business in the Scottish Borders countryside. Our beef is sourced from Buccleuch estates in southern Scotland and is hung for a minimum of 21 days. Buccleuch Food group is also now supplying us with our lamb and pork. Craig Douglas who runs the butchers shop in the village here of St. Boswells supplies us with beef for our very own steak pie as well as other products. We have started trading again recently with Burnside Farm Foods in Rutherford just 3 miles away for further meat produce including poultry and game. When it comes to fish, we have had great support from our local fishmonger in Eyemouth. D.R.Collins, one of the most noteworthy fish suppliers in the country and winners of many awards. Fish is ordered and delivered from them 6 days a week and we have seen our sales of fish rise dramatically this year as customers know how fresh our fish and by keeping the dishes simple the flavours speak for themselves. We believe our friendly and well trained staff will make your meal a comfortable and most memorable one.

From Jedburgh, take A68 north 6 miles to St Boswells. From Melrose take A68 south to St Boswells - continue past the petrol station, hotel on right, entrance to car park just beyond. Getting There by Railway - From Edinburgh Railway Station, follow A68 south until reaching St Boswells. Getting there by Aeroplane - From Edinburgh Airport, take city bypass south, at first roundabout take A68 south and follow until reaching St Boswells.
