Fordbank Country House Hotel was built as a family home in 1832 for the local distillery owners. It is set amongst mature trees in an elevated position and overlooks the village of Bladnoch in rural south west Scotland. It offers the welcoming ambience of a country house hotel with comfortable, tastefully decorated rooms. The Restaurant offers a wide choice of menu, and can cater for special diets by arrangement. The lounge bar overlooks the valley and has a log fire, original shuttered windows and is ideal to enjoy a drink after a days outing. The cellar bar has exposed beams, a warming log burner, pool table and wide screen TV with SKY sports channels. The area is rich in wildlife and offers many different activities from walking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing and country sports.
