Cringletie is a stunning baronial mansion, built in 1861. Nestled in 28 acres of own grounds, gardens and woodlands. All public rooms and bedrooms are individually designed to the highest possible standard. Log fires are in all public rooms. The restaurant with it's hand-painted ceiling serves culinary delights created by the award winning chef Paul Hart. All of the 14 bedrooms are individually designed and all have glorious views over the gardens and the rolling countryside. All have free high speed internet access, and a pc with internet access is available in the library. WIFI is available throughout. The 400 year old walled garden is something very special, reputed to be the oldest in Scotland it produces the vegetables for the kitchen. The hotel is fully wheelchair accessible and offers a dedicated disabled room, with all possible facilities.

The historic market town of Peebles lies in a picture book setting on the River Tweed. Maguire Room
This charming, turreted room is located on the first floor and enjoys views over the woodland garden at the front of the house. For chilly winter days the fire can be lit. The vast windows let in natural daylight in abundance but fully functioning shutters give a total blackout facility. Theatre style - 36 persons. Board room style - 22 persons and Class room style - 18 persons.
Wolfe Murray Room
With a large bay window overlooking the lawn and hills beyond, the Wolfe Murray room is an intimate board room for up to 12 guests. It has a real fire and although the room has very good natural daylight, it still has a full blackout facility. Theatre style - 16 persons and Board room style - 12 persons.
Conservatory
The Conservatory is the largest of the Cringletie meeting facilities. It is a bright, airy garden room which is ideal for theatre presentations or relaxed, informal sessions. This room does not have a blackout facility. It is located on the ground floor with the lounge bar adjacent to it. Theatre style - 60 persons. Board room style - 22 persons and Class room style - 20 persons.

There is plenty of day light to enjoy and during the winter the real log fire can be lit. Theatre style - 10 persons and Board room style - 06 persons.

The beautiful Sutherland room houses the exclusive restaurant. The original wood carved fire surround gives the room its ornate appearance. Fine dining with a la Carte and daily market menu, offering traditional British cuisine with contempory interpretation. Maximum seating capacity for 30 guests.
Lounge Bar
Cosy lounge bar is housed in what used to be the study of the Sutherland Family. With it's log fire and bay window looking out over the grounds to the west, it is a pleasant room. Pre-dinner drinks are primarily served in this room and it is only natural that the whisky tasting takes place here. Maximum seating capacity for 30 guests.

Head for M74 to Glasgow. Leave motorway at exit 15 for Moffat. Take the A701 scenic route to Edinburgh. At Drumelzier turn right onto B712 direction Peebles. Turn right onto the A72. Through Peebles, at roundabout turn left onto A703 direction Edinburgh. After 2 miles Cringletie House is on the left hand side.
