From the restoration of an ancient farmhouse a small residential group comprising just 9 apartments for holiday purposes has recently been created and is set in 44 ha of grounds delimited by a small forest at the bottom of the Arno valley. Extensive views over the hills and the forest bordering onto the Arno river and which you can reach along signed and pleasant pathways and which continue along through an interesting and protected area. Abt. 700 m away the motorway of which you can see only a very small stretch. Shared: lawn (7.000 m2) with several terracings surrounding the house and in one of which a beautiful swimming pool has been built (16x8) and which is linked to a children s pool (4x4), a small house for use when at the pool with a changing room and toilet facilities, ancient wood burning oven, ping-pong and washing machine. Upon agreement with the owner guests can make use of a spacious (unfurnished) reception room with fireplace on the gr. fl. for communal activities. DISTANCES: 3.7 km the village of Levane (various shops), 8 km Montevarchi (railway station from where in abt. 35 minutes you can reach Florence s central station which itself is just a few hundred metres from the cathedral), 25 km Arezzo (an important Medieval city and which is also renowned on account of its artisan industry in crafting gold), abt. 40 km from the area of Pratomagno (Poppi, Chiusi della Verna, Bibbiena, etc.). Within a 30 km radius the most exclusive areas of the famous Chianti Classico full of prestigious agricultural estates and famous villages such as Radda, Gaiole, Greve and the Castle of Brolio. Cleaning fee of euro 8 and deposit of euro 150 required at check-in to be paid in cash only. Hot water, heating and electricity charges are based upon usage and paid at the time of check-out.
