Over the months of May to July this year, the hotel will undergo soft furnishing refurbishments on its rooms and bathrooms, and extension works on one of its wings to include a purpose-built Spa and a small meeting room. The hotel assures guests that most of the work will be carried out in its northern section, and measures have been taken to minimize noise and inconvenience, although there may be occasions when these are inevitable.

How to get:
Driving directions from Langkawi International Airport: Turn left at first T-junction from the airport and left again onto the main road. This will take you around the runway, on your left, and you will see the sea on your right. You will pass the go-cart racing track on your right at about 4 kilometres out of the airport. Continue along this road over a small bridge, just past Bon Ton Restaurant, on your right and as you pass the Pelangi Beach Resort on your right, slow down as you round a left handed curve. You will see Casa del Mar on your right.
