Just south of downtown is the Dallas Zoo. This 97-acre attraction features over 8,000 animals, making it well worth visiting.
Dallas offers thrill-seekers a variety of opportunities. The Zero Gravity Thrill Rides Amusement Park uses bungees and nets to give participants the ultimate thrill ride. For a more traditional style thrill, head west to Arlington. Here you can enjoy the roller coasters at Six Flags over Texas or try water-powered excitement at the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park.
