The Hotel Aldo was one of the most highly thought of, on account of its attentive service and comfort, which included electric light, as a contemporary postcard shows.As the years passed, these early buildings were modernised according to the current fashion, and the splendid Hotel Aldo &endash; now called the Hotel Goya &endash; was redone in Art Nouveau which was the most popular style at that time.
