The 4 Star Hotel Castle Ryn is the second biggest of the 14th century Teutonic castle in Europe. It is classed as one of the grandest properties of this type in the world. This rebuilt castle was the witness of the stormy history of a town and the whole region. One of the first Commanders was the future Teutonic Grand Master Fryderyk von Wallenrod. The castle is situated in one of the most attractive ecological natural and tourist regions. Hilly landscape fabulous lakes charming bays and peninsulas create the Castles surroundings. The two castle restaurants Wielki Refektarz and Refektarz are in gothic style and offer mainly traditional Polish Cuisine. The swimming pool with fireplace hydromassage sauna and whirlpool are in one of the Castles vaults. The castle indoor courtyard is a place where many cultural events have taken place such as knight tournaments. The hotel has a professionally equipped conference and congress centre with its five conference halls.
