Splendid Renaissance villa built as a summer-house by a noble Florentine family. The property is beautifully situated, amidst green hills, olive-groves and vineyards producing the famous Chianti Classico wine. The stone buildings close to the villa have been recently restored preserving their original architectural features typical of the region and turned into 6 comfortable apartments, all of which providing tastefully furnished interiors. At guests' disposal: equipped garden, shared swimming-pool (12 x 6 m) set in panoramic location, barbecue and table-tennis. Mountain bikes for rent. The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road. On request maid service (Euro 11 / per hour to be paid on the spot) and baby-sitting (payment on the spot). Washing-machine and iron to be shared among the 5 apartments. The produce of the estate is available to be purchased. By arrangement it is possible to organise guided tours in the most beautiful areas of Tuscany in order to get to know its works of art, its excellent wines as well as local handicraft. Parking. Baby-bed available (Euro 52/week/each).Central heating. Cleaning fee of euro 15 and deposit of euro 150 required at check-in to be paid in cash only. Hot water, heating and electricity charges are based upon usage and paid at the time of check-out. No after hours check-in is available. Chianti, famous not only for its landscape but also for the fruit which its land offers. The hills are absolutely enchanting covered in vineyards and oak, chestnut and holm-oak tree groves. The countryside, dotted with farmhouses, is now an exclusive tourist destination.
