The hotel itself is a 16th century palazzo, re-stored and modernized into six structures, which blend in perfectly with the six hectres of protected park land in which we are based. There are four types of accommodations here at San Luigi Resort. Each room, suite or apartment is individually furnished, and all have their own special characteristics - such as large rustic fireplaces, original palazzo doors, frescoes, gallery bedrooms, Tuscan four poster beds, and nearly all have either a garden or terrace. Our delightful rooms and suites are one of the many reasons the majority of our guests return to us, year after year. All accommodations have air-conditioning, at least one bathroom, satellite TV, mini-bar and all have views of surrounding vineyards, mountains and parkland. Our suites have kitchenettes, and the apartments have corner kitchens and can be comfortably used on a self catering basis. We have an olympic size swimming pool with children's pool attached, a gymnasium, two clay tennis courts, and we offer horseback riding and quad biking. Our renowned restaurant serves an a la carte cuisine as well as high quality traditional Tuscan foods. We have a large shaded terrace and various gazebos and awnings for outside dining by day, or by night next to the floodlit pool. Many consider one of our best advantages is our excellent position, we are less than half an hour from both Siena and Florence. Which makes the San Luigi Resort a great base from which to explore many of Tuscany's beautiful towns and villages.
