Relais Falisco is in the heart of town of Civita Castellana (35 km far form Viterbo). The history of this town is both fascinating and tormented. It rises from the ruins of antique Falerii, the political and cultural centre of the Falisci people. Faithful allies of the Etruscan Poleis, in the III century BC, Falerii was attacked and conquered by the Romans that obliged the inhabitants to leave and to build Falerii Novi.
