Each intervention has been thought out to exalt the past not hide it- the insertion of materials at once seemingly new yet steeped in history and the colour scheme distinguish the contemporary from the past in the hope that anyone can appreciate its history and how indebted we shpuld be to a past which teaches us. The kernel of the structure lies in the consecrated chapel originally known as oratory of st. John to which is annexed a large portion of the manor consisting of vaulted rooms and which is now home to a great welcoming project.
