From its privileged location in the Arenal area, just 4 miles from downtown La Fortuna, with a direct, uninterrupted panoramic view of the Arenal Volcano and the feeling like you are stepping into another world, where the only sounds you will hear are those of birds, and the rumbling of the volcano. It is important to note that although the view from Montana del Paraiso is one of the best in the area, the hotel is completely out of the red, or designated danger area of Arenal. The hotel consists of 12 bungalows that each house two Junior Suites and 3 other bungalows that are our two-bedroom Master Suites. All the suites are equipped with My Home Intelligent Systems a remote controlled lighting system, a king size bed, fine wood furniture, flat screen televisions with cable, wireless internet, international access telephones and a Jacuzzi. The master Suites have a total construction fo 140 sq meters (1506.94 sq feet). Besides the standard features in all the rooms, these suites have a private garden swimming pool with view of the volcano, a sitting area, 2 bathrooms , the master bath has a Jacuzzi, and a home theatre system. The Junior Suites are 70 sq meters (753.43 sq feet), with an outdoor Jacuzzi facing the volcano, private garden and rock embedded shower. The restaurant has been designed in a way that you will have an uninterrupted view of the volcano from anywhere in the building. With high arches and ceilings an no doors, you will be able to enjoy first class meals in a totally natural atmosphere. The outdoor heated pool has a beach style entrance, a children's area and a Jacuzzi along with a rock waterfall feature. There is also a swim up bar and patio with sun lounges alongside. The central parking area has been designed in order to reduce traffic and noise around the bungalows. There are golf carts available to take you from the main areas to the rooms if desired.
