The Thomas Paine is an ideal venue for weddings, dinners and private functions for small groups or parties of up to fifty people. We offer a wide range of catering tailored to your needs. We specialise in freshly prepared food using local produce, and our varied menus include vegetarian choices. Our intimate beamed restaurant offers good food, an excellent wine list and the choice of a la carte and table d'hote menus every day. Children are especially welcome, and well catered for. We also welcome your pets but unfortunately they are not allowed in the bar or restaurant areas. A credit card number,expiry date and the three digit security number is required as a guarantee. If the booking is not cancelled outside of the cancellation notice period, you will incur a charged off one nights stay. We accept pets with prior notice and a charge of 2.50 per pet.Reception closes at 23.30 hours Monday to Saturday and 23.00 hours on Sundays. For late check in we require prior notice of time of arrival.
