The Christinenhof Hotel was completely reconstructed in 2004 and 2006 and comprises 4 single rooms and 17 double rooms some of which can be used as dorms. The rooms are modern, have been lovingly decorated and feature satellite TV and telephones. After a strenuous day, guests can visit the non-smoking restaurant and choose a meal from our extensive menu. Guests wishing to smoke can visit our rustic room with its open fire. A T-Com wireless hot spot is available for those guests wishing to use their laptops on the go. The Christinenhof Hotel offers the following services: Transfer to the regions airports, to the ferry harbours, and to bus and train connections; organisation of city tours and round trips to Schwerin, Wismar, Luebeck, Ratzeburg and Schaalsee; reservation of riding lessons and horse trekking at the Makowei stables; and bicycle hire. Other services offered by the hotel: Family celebrations and seminars for up to 30 people or, in collaboration with the Schlosshotel Wedendorf, for up to 200 people. The hotel has its own car park that guests can use without extra charge and cyclists are also especially welcome - we can give tips for cycle tours in the region! Our hotel is located on the outskirts of the town of Gadebusch, in the Gaestow area, far away from the hubbub of the city streets. It lies on the edge of the Schaalsee region, with the towns of Luebeck, Schwerin, Ratzeburg and Wismar all lying in the near vicinity. You can enjoy the peaceful and idyllic countryside of Western Mecklenburg, either on foot, by bike or by charabanc. Visit the historical town centres of Wismar, Schwerin and Luebeck or go bathing on the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea coast, for example in the Wohlenberger Wieck or in the Boltenhagen Baltic Sea bath. Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve invites observers to visit its unique collection of flora and fauna.
