Wentworth House Hotel is an imposing Victorian mansion built in 1887 for a wealthy merchant and his family. The house enjoys a peaceful location overlooking the beautiful city of Bath. Although just 15 minutes stroll from the city centre, it is a haven from the hustle and bustle. Set in almost an acre of grounds guests can relax and take a quiet drink on one of the garden terraces or a refreshing swim in our heated outdoor pool. The latest addition to our facilities is a garden hot tub available to guests (at an extra charge)where guests can relax and enjoy the views across the valley all year round To secure your booking, the hotel require the last 3 digits on the security strip on the back of your credit card, we recommend that this information is included in the comment/special requests box or it may be by emailed or telephoned directly to the hotel - the booking cannot be guaranteed without this information. The Wentworth House Hotel will contact you by E Mail to obtain these detals if they have not been sent. You do NOT need to resend your card details. Once we have received this final information, your booking will be guaranteed. On arrival guests will be issued with a room and front door key, check-in must be before 10.30pm as the hotel does not have a night porter and reception closes at 10.30pm and guests without keys will not have access to the hotel. We strongly reccommend that guests take sufficient travel insurance to cover any cancellation charges. We do not accept children under the age of 7. Double, twin and 4 poster rooms booked are for a maximum of 2 people and these rooms are not able to accommodate an extra bed.
