With an approach to renovation focused on cherishing the past while designing for the present, this house has been restored from an 18th century olive press. Set in an historic villa nestled in the hills that dominate the Versilia coast, the panoramic vistas stretch from the Apuane Alps to the sea. Original materials were retained and utilized in this careful restoration, with details like wooden ceiling beams, terracotta-tiled floors and stone walls greeting guests. The grounds include a lawn with garden furniture and barbecue, a partially above ground pool and a pergola, creating an inviting outdoor space ideal for holiday relaxation. A cleaning fee of Euro 20 and deposit of Euro 400 is required at check-in, to be paid in cash only. Hot water, heating and electricity charges are based upon usage and paid at the time of check-out. There is parking available. No after hours check-in is available. Versilia offers miles and miles of fine, sandy beaches between the Magra and Serchio Rivers. Along the coastline, cooling blue sea laps the shore, while beyond, stretches of shady pine groves dot the landscape. In the distance, the Apuan Alps dazzle with their famous deposits of white marble.
