It has been tastefully converted and modernised and is now one of the area's most renowned Hotels. The Hotel boasts a fully heated indoor pool and Sauna and is delighted to offer residential swimming courses for those who have not learned to swim. Based on a 5 day programme over 6000 swimmers have learnt to swim at the Springfield - a 100% success rate! From time to time the swimming pool may be in use for private lessons. The hotel also has its own Beauty Salon to avoid disappointment advanced booking is however advisable. The Springfield has, in the Kendrick Suite, one of the largest Banqueting Rooms in the area. It can seat up to 400 people for Dinner Dances, Corporate Events, Weddings, Conferences, Trade Exhibitions, and holds regular Cabaret Nights featuring such stars as Counterfeit Abba, Liverpool Laughter Show, Bootleg Bee Gees, Killer Queen, Robbie Williams Tribute, Queen B, The Ivy League and many others. No pets are allowed in the hotel with the exception of Guide Dogs. From time to time the swimming pool may be in use for private lessons.
