There are 2 big pools in the garden - and one, which is reserved for children and has a big water slide. ( In Winter, one pool is heated )And close by, a modern and well-equipped children's playground. You reach the seaside promenade by walking down from the pool area, passing the pretty waterfall in the garden, and through the lower entrance of the Hotel, which actually is the one mostly used by our guests. The beach is only a short and pleasant walk away. Of all the beaches of the Island, locals and residents consider this one their favorite. Descending the wide marble staircase, which offers a great panoramic view of the solarium, the pools and the sea, you have the restaurant on your right. This main dining room seats 600 persons and offers international and local cuisine with Buffet service, featuring a great variety of delicious dishes, which include vegetarian food and specialties from the Show Cooking Grill, where the guests can see the Chef prepare the dishes of their choice. The poolside La Palapa Snack Bar & Restaurant in the garden offers lunch with Buffet Service as well as tasty snacks, drinks and ice creams. There are two bars in the main building: the Piano Bar, which offers a very pleasant setting for drinks and conversation, and the Music Hall Bar and Discotheque where the fun and action starts at nightfall. Sports and Entertainment Among the various sports facilities on offer you can choose the tennis court, mini-golf, petanque (French bowls), table tennis or billiards. And you can play golf at the Costa Adeje Golf Club (18 holes) at 22 km from the Hotel. Adding yet another leisure and sports option to its many other excellent facilities and services, the Hotel offers you the possibility of improving your fitness and physical well-being during your holidays at the Athenia Fitness Centre, attended by its experienced professional trainers. This modern fitness centre is equipped with a full musculation circuit, cardiovascular equipment, Jacuzzi/hydrotherapy and personal Chartered Physioinstructors.
