Le Boscarecce is located 25 miles south of Florence off the Siena road. The Inn is located on a ridge with farms and fields overlooking a deep valley below; Val di??Elsa. The terrace of the Inn boasts a sweeping view of hills covered with cypress and olive trees in the foreground and the mountains Appenini on the distant horizon. Within a half houri??s drive of the Inn are San Gimignano, Volterra, Vinci, and the Chianti Country; within one houri??s drive Firenze, Pisa, and Siena. Guests without a car can travel easily by the train located 3 km away in Castelfiorentino, a small attractive village. The Inn consists of 14 rooms named for famous literary or historical female figures. The rooms are furnished with 18th and 19th century antiques.
