Family owned and operated, Hotel Mar de Cortez is a charming, colonial-style Historical Landmark hotel, centrally located in downtown Cabo near the beaches, golf, marina, shopping, clubs, and restaurants of Cabo San Lucas. With its 90 air-conditioned rooms, unique outdoor swimming pool with poolside food and beverage service from the popular Baja Peppers Restaurant and Bar, Hotel Mar de Cortez offers classic Baja charm and hospitality. For your convenience, we offer free safe deposit boxes at the front desk, 24-hour security, free private parking, and filtered drinking water in each room. Our rooms have views of the pool area, the courtyard, or the town. Guests at the hotel can also enjoy room service, free WiFi, free beach towels, laundry service, wake up calls, and happy hour at the bar which has a large flat-screen TV. Our friendly front desk staff can arrange car rentals, sport fishing, scuba diving excursions, and other activities. We also offer a large, walk-in freezer for your prize fishing catches. Rates now include breakfast, choice of- All-American Breakfast, or Waffle or Pancake Breakfast, or Fruit Plate Breakfast, or Huevos Rancheros Breakfast, and coffee. Tax included/tips extra. And a Welcome Cocktail- Margarita or domestic beverage only. Children 8 and under stay for free. Children 9 and older will count toward the occupancy rate. Minimum age required at check-in is 21, except for married couples. If available, a mini-fridge may be rented at the hotel for USD 10.00 per day for stays of 4 days or less. If staying for 5 days or more, a mini-fridge may be rented for USD 5.00 per day. All fees are payable at the hotel. Check-in is from 3 pm to 10.30 pm. 24 hour front desk. Housekeeping from 9 to 4 daily.Valid ID, credit card, and copy of confirmation are required at check-in. We only accept Visa or MasterCard. Check-out is at 12 pm.
