He was the legal guardian of Prince Bira, a famous motor racing champion of the 1930's and 1940's. Our house is Johansens recommended and has recently been featured in the Guardian newpaper as a great place to stay(April 2005) A fully non-smoking house Guests are welcome to smoke in the grounds. Dinner on arrival night must be pre-booked in advance. Please note latest check-in is 10pm unless agreed by prior arrangement.
