In the autumn of 2004, the hotel was beautifully transformed from a typical Victorian hotel to one that is modern and contemporary, whilst retaining many of its orginal features. The transformation also includes the contemporary Hg1 Bar & Brasserie, a very popular venue with both our guests and local residents. There are 80 en-suite bedrooms including 8 luxury suites, which include lounge furniture, complimentary mini bar, towelling robes, slippers, fresh fruit, chocolates and magazines. All our bedrooms have been refurbished to a high standard and offer comfort and style. The Yorkshire is perfectly situated in the heart of this beautiful spa town, with everything you need being in walking distance. We have free parking at the front of the hotel and the train station is only a 3 minute walk away. A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation and payment is on check-out. In the event that your reservation is cancelled in breach of our policy we will charge the first nights stay to your credit card. No dogs are allowed at this hotel except guide dogs Smoking/non smoking rooms are request only basis, they cannot be guaranteed. Cots provided on request. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but a surcharge of 5GBP per dog will be added. Dogs must be a lead at all times and are prohibited from dining areas.
