Located on the shores of Loch Ness approximatly 15 miles from Inverness, the hotel has a lovely view over Loch Ness. The hotel is a traditional highland country house designed with a large open log fire place,high connice ceilings and wood panelling throughout the hall, dining room,lounge,bar and drawing room. Hogmanay in the Highlands A three day package including New Years Eve and New Years Day. Fully inclusive of dinner, bed, breakfast and entertainment. Sunday December 30th 2007 Dinner on your first night in the Dining Room. Hogmanay Monday December 31st 2007 Dress for the evening will be dinner jackets or kilts. Hogmanay celebrations commence with guests assembling in the Drawing Room at 7.15pm for Champagne and whisky aperitifs. A 5 course celebratory dinner will commence at 8pm during which Champagne will be served. After dinner the entertainment and dancing will begin till the wee hours of New Years Day. At Midnight The pipes will be played to see in the New Year followed by a fantastic fireworks display. Drink, dance and be merry for the rest of the night. For those of you who can still eat there will be a light supper served during the small hours. New Years Day Tuesday 1st of January 2008 Breakfast is served at around 11am complete with Bucks Fizz to accompany a full Scottish breakfast. That evening we serve a dressed buffet for dinner 4 star visitScotland Restaurant With Rooms 4 star AA Restaurant With Rooms 2 AA Red Rosettes for Culinary Excellence And a rename to Craigdarroch House. Conditions of booking for Craigdarroch House - Bookings cancelled 30-16 days prior to the arrival date will be charged at 25pct 15-8 days prior will be charged at 50pct and 7 days or less charged at 100pct. Charges will be made if cancelled accommodation is not re-let to other clients. It is advisable for guests to cover themselves with travel indemnity We also now welcome children of all ages and we have new menus - we no longer do the 5 course set menu. Our bar menu runs from 12pm - 9pm and the restaurant menu is from 6pm - 9pm. We do not have the 2 rosettes any more but we are still classed as a 4 star restaurant with rooms.
